From a population of 500 in 1853 to 523,911 in 2011, Brampton is Canada’s second fastest growing and the 9th largest city. The City also enjoys a vast inventory of libraries, hospital services, educational facilities, shopping centres and places of worship. People from around the world have come together to live, work, play and pray in this City. Brampton residents represent more than 170 different cultures and speak more than 70 languages. Brampton is the youngest community in the Toronto census metropolitan area (CMA) with a median age at 34.7 according to the 2011 Census. ????
