Why you'd want to live in Mississauga
Toronto’s largest suburb, Mississauga is Canada’s sixth most populated city. It sits to the west of Toronto on the shores of Lake Ontario, spanning for over 280 square kilometres. Although Mississauga was only established as a city in 1974, it dates back to the 1600s when European settlers arrived. It later became a town, followed by having city status, but due to its history, it is home to plenty of historic sites. It is also home to Lester B. Pearson International Airport, which is Canada’s largest and busiest air hub. Today Mississauga is still growing and is fast becoming a major business centre. It also has a thriving arts community, shopping centres, recreational areas and quant villages.
